Precision Motor Works started with a simple idea: give drivers around Austin, TX, quality service and straight answers without the runaround. We are an individually owned shop that travels to you, so instead of arranging a tow or waiting in a lobby, you get a skilled mechanic showing up where your car already sits. With 4 years of hands-on experience behind the work and 1 year running the business, we know how to fix what matters and skip what does not.

Most of what we do falls under everyday care that keeps a vehicle dependable. We handle brake repair when your stops feel soft or noisy, engine repair when something under the hood is not behaving, and a routine oil change to stretch the life of what you drive. When a car will not turn over, we sort out battery replacement, starter repair, and alternator repair so you are not left guessing which part gave out. We also handle cooling system repairs and general maintenance, and we are comfortable working on most makes and models, including BMW, Honda, Toyota, Lexus, Ford, and Chevrolet.

We like to be upfront about what we do not do. We do not handle tires, alignments, or transmissions, so if that is what you need, we will point you in the right direction rather than take on work outside our lane.
